Employee Motivation

Gaps: Managers and department heads report a lack of motivation amongst employees. The lack of motivation is not only seen in speed of accomplishing work-related tasks, but in lateness and lack of focus. Individual surveys given to employees indicated motivation scores as quite low. 

Solution: By the end of this vILT, learners were able to define motivation, identify three practical motivation strategies, identify de-motivators in the workplace, give examples of solutions to resolve de-motivators, and list steps in creating personalized motivation strategies for each team member. Stakeholder goals reached included at least 25% higher scores on employee motivation surveys, an increase in member/team productivity and focus, and a decrease in employee lateness.
